Andrew Cox

Andrew LeMay Cox b.1987 Grew up in central Illinois and attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he graduated with a bachelor of Fine Art’s degree in 2011.

He was lead art handler at Linda Warren Gallery LLC from 2009- 2017 and has been featured in multiple fine art publications including Chicago’s SOFA (Sculptural Objects & Functional Art) Exhibition and Chicago Art Magazine.

Andrew has also served in art preparation at other distinguished institutions such as the Chicago Cultural Center and as a site manager for the School of the Art Institute’s Sullivan Galleries.
He has continued his personal art practices by exhibiting at several Chicago galleries and had his first solo exhibition at Gallery Victor Armendariz (Chicago) in 2017.

Andrew’s experience in the fine art’s community has evolved over the years and is cultivating new bodies of work that exist within the academic studies of traditional tattoo practices.
